1.) How did you get into writing?
Since I was a young kid, my writing skills have always been acknowledged by my teachers, parents and peers. I never put much consideration into writing as a hobby, but I’ve recently joined Teensoul and found the writing process quite enjoyable.

2. What do you love writing about?
Writing has become a way of expressing myself. I do this through the way I write and what I write about. Writing is great way to share your own opinion and to share a message with everyone. What I love most about writing is that it isn’t all about tedious stories and long novels. There are many options including reviews, letters, reports, and articles- which I have been writing for Teensoul.

3. What are your outside interests?
An interest of mine is sport. I enjoy being as active as possible when I’m not in school or writing for Teensoul. Throughout my childhood I have danced, participated in marching, played rugby, netball, badminton, and had a huge passion for athletics. Now I play netball for two teams at an indoor centre and dance in my free time.

4. What do you do when you’re not writing for Teensoul?
When I am not writing for Teensoul, I can often be found spending time with friends or family. My friends are a huge part of my life who I consider as part of my family as well. We do things such as check out the local foodie scene, explore new places, and attend local Perth events, typical teenage stuff really.

5.) What’s an interesting fact about you?
I moved to Australia in 2015 and I am an only child. Being an only child can sometimes get boring with nobody to tell my stories too. This is also a great reason why I enjoy writing so much.

6. What would you like the readers to know about you?
I’m sixteen and attend Ballaura Community College. I never had an interest in writing until joining Teensoul where I gained confidence to take up expressing myself through writing.
